New Logo Reflects Brand Growth

We are excited to introduce the new Dan Ryan Builders’ logo. This logo was designed to refresh our brand look while remaining in sync with founder, Dan Ryan’s original core values and mission statement- to be “The Best Value in Home Ownership.” Dan Ryan Builders has grown significantly since our inception in 1990. Over the past 25 years, Dan Ryan Builders has seen expansion into new markets and sub-markets, additional architectural offerings, utilization of the highest standards of building materials and processes while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction. Today, we are a mid-sized regional builder operating in six Mid-Atlantic States and ten markets. The new logo reflects this evolution of Dan Ryan Builders while still maintaining graphic elements that preserve our strong brand recognition.

Char Kurihara, Corporate VP of Sales & Marketing asked Corporate Brand Manager, Sarah Harne to undertake this important task. Harne was challenged to retain foundational elements of original logo but reflect Dan Ryan Builders’ evolution. Just over 3 years ago, after extensive internal and external research into brand perception, Kurihara and Harne created brand standards for the organization. The new logo completes that original brand refresh.

Harne said, “The brick motif from the original logo was used as inspiration for the updated design – which you see reflected in the roof detail. We kept our iconic red and added our navy blue as well as updated the logotype to a modern yet, timeless treatment.” “The new logo takes the best elements of Dan Ryan Builders’ heritage and adds a human element when the bricks become a roof/home. Dan cares deeply about our customers and this new logo reflects his passion and our execution of that commitment.” said Kurihara.

The launch of the new logo is an intentional “soft launch” throughout the organization and operations and will be phased into new models and materials over the next 12 to 18 months. Enjoy!
