April 4, 2008 — Dan Ryan Builders Supports the Troops

Frederick, MD, Dan Ryan Builders recently donated a new Polaris Ranger to "Ridgerunners," Company C 1-150th. The Company used the Polaris Ranger during their tour in Iraq from July 2006 to July 2007.

Commander Larry A. Graham states, “I am sure you are aware that the ATV you donated benefited us during our combat tour but I doubt you realize the full measure of your contribution. I believe I owe you not only a debt of gratitude but an obligation to explain how much your sacrifice helped us.”

Over 7000 hours were flown during combat which represents 1400 times the helicopters had to be loaded and unloaded 24/7 to accomplish the mission. The Polaris was used to haul the gear from the aircraft to headquarters which was over a mile away.
