December 29, 2008 — Dan Ryan Builders continues with Better Giving Better Living
Dan Ryan Builders continued its mission of "better giving, better living" at the Jefferson County Board of Education meeting Monday, December 8, 2008. John Migliore, General Sales Manager for Dan Ryan Builders, presented Principal, Judy Marcus of
Principal Marcus then pointed out to the board that in addition to this generous donation, Dan Ryan had just received The Philanthropist of the Year award from the Eastern West Virginia Community Foundation. Marcus was very appreciative of the donation and commented, “Dan Ryan Builders has always been a friend of the community and THEY approached us as to how they could help.”
Bonnie Minoglio, Sales Manager for Dan Ryan Builders at Spruce Hill North thought it would be a great idea to approach the brand new high school, located in Charles Town, WV, to inquire about the needs of the school. “It just made sense, “ Minoglio stated, “to reach out to a brand new high school which is located so close to one of our communities and see what we could do to help.” Lindsey Stolt, Sales Manager for Dan Ryan Builders at Quail Ridge addressed the board and said, “How great it was to meet all of the Jefferson County Board of Education team who help enrich the lives of our customers' children!”
Principal Marcus said that she plans to use some of the money to purchase T-shirts that will be handed out to students who show exceptional strength in the “3 A’s”, Academics, Athletics and Attendance. Marcus stated that the students are very excited about having the opportunity to earn these shirts.
