What type of homes do you offer?
Single-family, townhomes and duplexes, depending on the community.
Do you have plans to expand to other states?
Yes, we are currently researching new areas along the East Coast/Mid-Atlantic region. Please watch this website for information on new Dan Ryan Builders communities as we grow.
Is there a way for me to be notified when a certain community begins construction?
Yes, just sign up in the Coming Soon section of this site. Complete the simple form with your e-mail address and name of the community you're interested in, and we will contact you when it opens for sales.
Where can I find a particular home model that I'm interested in visiting?
You can find a list of the model homes that are on display and available for touring throughout our four-state region in the Communities section of this website.
What if you don't have a model of a home I would like to see?
Once you've visited a community, the sales manager there may be able to set an appointment to accompany you on a “hard hat” tour of the house type you are seeking. Please keep in mind that, because of the large number of floor plans we offer, it may not be possible to show you the exact layout and elevation you are considering. Also, model availability differs from community to community based on lot size, soil type, street layout, slope and other factors.
What are your model hours and how do I get directions?
Most Dan Ryan Builders model homes are open from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., but times may vary from community to community. Please take a moment to confirm specific model hours in the Communities section of this site. Click on the community of interest and you'll find any special notices regarding hours and you'll also find driving directions. Please call a sales manager on site to schedule a time for your visit.
Can I have a Dan Ryan Builders home built on land I already own?
To provide the best value for our customers, Dan Ryan Builders builds homes only on our own homesites. We do, however, create communities across six states with a wide variety of home styles and options to meet individual needs and preferences.
What is the time frame for completion once I've chosen my Dan Ryan Builders home?
There are a number of variables to consider, including permitting, weather, material availability, inspections and, of course, loan processing, to name just a few. Generally, most people building a new home today are able to move in within four to five months from the date they sign a sales contract. Some communities may have homes already in progress and available in a shorter time frame. Please check with the sales manager at the community you are interested in for information on the current construction schedules.
Will I be able to customize my Dan Ryan Builders home?
Our customers are often surprised to see how many customizable features are available to personalize their Dan Ryan Builders home. Most floor plans offer several options and, of course, will have a large choice of floor coverings, cabinet finishes, countertops, and ceramic tile. Please talk with the sales manager in the community you are interested in for details.
Will my new home include a landscaping package?
Yes, each Dan Ryan Builders home comes with a standard landscaping package including trees, shrubs, and planting beds, and your yard is seeded with grass so you'll have a lawn sprouting as soon as the season permits.
Do you have a warranty plan and is it transferable?
Yes! We have a 10-year Quality Builders Warranty and it is transferable. You can pick up a sample copy at any of our communities.
Is there a homeowner's association and what are the fees?
Please see a Dan Ryan Builders Sales Manager to find out which Dan Ryan Builders communities have a separate homeowner's association that provides services for the public areas of the community, sets standards and guidelines, and protects the interest of our homeowners. Dues are partially paid by Dan Ryan Builders until the community is complete, and after that the individual association establishes the dues, which vary from community to community. Please ask the sale representative in the community you are considering for details.
How can I finance my new home?
Dan Ryan Builders offers a number of mortgage programs through our preferred lenders. Because these consultants are familiar with Dan Ryan Builders communities and our entire construction process, they are able to guide you through the process quickly and easily and offer packages specially geared to our homebuyers. The sales manager in the community of your choice will share with you information on special incentives that accompany these programs.
Is Dan Ryan Builders associated with Ryan Homes?
Dan Ryan Builders is a completely separate company, but there is a family connection. Dan's grandfather was the founder of Ryan homes, and Dan has continued in the family tradition, starting his own company, Dan Ryan Builders, in 1990.
