Establishing a Ryan Family tradition, Dan Ryan's Grandfather begins building homes in Castle Shannon, PA.

Dan Ryan's Father, Jim, and Uncle, Ed, founded Ryland Homes and Ryan Homes in the 1950s and 1960s.

1990- As a third generation home builder, Dan Ryan starts Dan Ryan Builders in 1990.

1993- Dan Ryan Builders settles their 100th house just 3 years after only selling 1 home their inaugural year.

2005- Dan Ryan Builders continues to grow as they celebrate 15 Years in home building.

2006- Dan Ryan Builders is growing strong and expands to Morgantown, WV.

2006- Dan Ryan Builders enters the Charleston, South Carolina market.

2008- Dan Ryan Builders with "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," completes a home in less than 106 hours, thanks to the help of over 1,000 area volunteers and sponsors.

2011- Dan Ryan Builders goes back to their Pittsburgh Roots launching the Pittsburgh Division early 2011.

2011- In a statement released in May 2011, Dan Ryan Builders is now recognized by Builder Magazine as the 48th top 100 U.S. homebuilder.
